Brazil and Argentina Force Modernization

Brazil’s Centauro II program has entered serial production, confirmed by Leonardo’s initial seven-vehicle contract valued at approximately R$420 million within a planned 98-vehicle fleet potentially expandable to 221. Argentina’s F-16 integration remains constrained by Tandil infrastructure reportedly delayed until 2028–2029, while the Stryker acquisition advances Army modernization and the Super Étendard retirement leaves a naval strike gap.
