Local theater, cultural heritage, and spring festivals across Tennessee
Tennessee Stages & Seasonal Celebrations
Across Tennessee, communities are celebrating arts and culture through theater, history, and festivals. Jackson is hosting a bilingual production of “The Velveteen Rabbit,” a Black History Month program with music and poetry, and the 5th annual 420 Hemp Festival headlined by Scotty Austin. In Memphis, LeMoyne-Owen College’s legacy in building a vibrant Black theater scene is being highlighted. Meanwhile, unseasonably warm weather is jump-starting blooms at a Middle Tennessee farm ahead of the Tennessee Tulip Festival, signaling an early start to spring events.
