Flash-flood threat across the Rockford-Loves Park area

Heavy rain is expected to continue tonight, with saturated ground, a flood watch, moderate excessive-rainfall risk, and possible additional rainfall of roughly 2–4 inches. Flash flooding and hazardous travel are the immediate concerns for Loves Park and surrounding Winnebago County communities.
