Sabres Rally to Win Home Opener After Columbus Loss

Buffalo overcame Chicago 4-3 on October 3, with Jack Quinn, Tage Thompson and Rasmus Dahlin scoring before Jiri Kulich delivered the game-winning goal. The sellout and strong chance differential were encouraging, but Luukkonen's .784 save percentage, an 0-for-8 power play, penalty killing and defensive breakdowns remain concerns as Buffalo faces Minnesota.
