North Omaha Barricade After Shoplifting at Westroads

A shoplifting at Westroads Mall escalated into a pursuit and barricade in North Omaha. Suspect pointed a gun at an officer, entered a home with innocent occupants. SWAT used flash-bangs and a Rook vehicle; suspect in custody, no injuries. Adds to pattern of retail theft turning into high-risk police incidents.
