Carla Leite injury and record season

Leite returned from a left-knee sprain and finished the season strongly, including 26 points at Atlanta on Aug. 25 and 27 points with 11 assists against Washington on Aug. 23. Her record-setting season included WNBA and team marks for double-doubles and 20-10 games at age 22; she is now unavailable to Portland while representing France at the FIBA World Cup.
