Chicago Marathon delivers historic Kipruto and Feysa victories

The 2026 Chicago Marathon concluded with Amos Kipruto winning in 2:01:09 and Hawi Feysa defending her title in 2:13:33, both reportedly among the five fastest marathon performances historically. U.S. performances remain in focus: Conner Young’s 2:05:23 was recognized as the second-fastest American marathon, while attention also turns to the 2027 lottery and U.S. championship designation.
