Miami’s quarterback depth remains thin as Heavner leads offense

With David McComb and Thomas Gotkowski unavailable for the season, Caleb Heavner remains Miami’s expected starter and freshman Drew Bellisari the likely backup. Heavner produced 221 passing yards and 58 rushing yards with a touchdown against Central Michigan, but two interceptions keep turnovers and quarterback consistency in focus.
