Messi expected back for Red Bulls match, availability unconfirmed

Messi is expected to travel to Spain on Oct. 22 to receive the Princess of Asturias Award, and Miami expects him back for its Oct. 24 match against the New York Red Bulls; whether he will play is unconfirmed. The Red Bulls’ preview notes a 6-6-1 all-time regular-season record between the clubs, New York’s 2-3-0 recent form, and a 2-2 draw in April, but adds no Miami lineup news.
