BYU road test approaches with injury questions

Iowa State visits No. 8 BYU on October 9 for its most demanding test since the Utah loss. BYU's rushing offense is averaging 235.5 yards and 13 touchdowns per game at 6.1 yards per carry, magnifying Iowa State's run-defense concerns; a preview also flags an unclear injury issue involving Drew Surges. Week 5 power rankings elevated the matchup's conference significance but added little new analysis.
