New AI Dashcam and Flood Monitoring Tech for Post-Hurricane Assessment

USF and local engineers are testing AI dashcams and routing tools in Sarasota County to speed up post-hurricane damage assessment. A prototype can identify road damage types and is expected to be operational within a year. Separately, a USF flood monitoring camera installed at Clam Bayou provides real-time data for flood-prone areas.
