Democratic national mobilization and down-ballot investment intensify

Barack Obama has raised more than $13.6 million for Democrats and is campaigning in pivotal states, including Ohio, for Senate and gubernatorial candidates. Hakeem Jeffries, Josh Gottheimer, and Democratic governors are also investing in House and state-level contests, testing whether national and gubernatorial popularity can generate down-ballot coattails.
