Bowling Green rout exposes Sacramento State’s continuing MAC problems

Bowling Green defeated Sacramento State 38–10 on Oct. 10, dropping the Hornets to 1–5 overall and 0–3 in MAC play. The loss reinforced persistent issues with run defense, tackling, protection, turnovers, penalties, offensive consistency and special teams; film review also found Sacramento State abandoned an initially effective rushing approach.
