HHS expands vaccine-injury research and reporting initiative

HHS is pursuing an NIH vaccine-injury clinic, VAERS modernization, reporting incentives or reimbursement, accessibility improvements, and electronic-health-record requirements. The initiative could improve care and evidence, but passive reports cannot establish causation and politically framed methods could amplify misinformation or undermine confidence.
