Fatal West Omaha armed-home-invasion standoff

Police say a man with a felony warrant forced a woman from a West Omaha home at gunpoint, prompting an hours-long standoff involving SWAT, negotiators and a drone. The suspect was found dead from an apparent suicide; no officers or other residents were injured, and a grand-jury review is planned.
