Lake Murray drawdown creates navigation and shoreline hazards

Dominion Energy has begun lowering Lake Murray, with levels expected to reach about 350 feet in December and remain reduced through January 2027. Shallow coves and inlets may become hazardous, while docks, shoreline access, maintenance, vegetation, and water-quality conditions may be affected.
