Rams finalize initial 53-man roster and practice squad

Los Angeles finalized its initial 53-man roster after a 3-0 preseason, retained three quarterbacks and left the QB2 competition between Ty Simpson and Stetson Bennett unsettled. The Rams have signed 17 practice-squad players, including Larrell Murchison, and are adding former Seahawks edge rusher Jamie Sheriff as further defensive depth; additional claims, elevations and roster changes remain possible.
