Manchester United’s defensive crisis deepens after Bournemouth defeat

United’s 0–3 loss to Bournemouth has sharpened scrutiny of defensive errors and Carrick’s position; an article says the club are 16th and frames relegation as a risk, though that is analysis rather than a settled outcome. Reported interest in Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite and a rejected £45 million bid remain unconfirmed; a separate claim of a 4–1 loss to Como is unverified and conflicts with existing notes.
