Jets’ Early-Season Slide and Montreal Matchup

Winnipeg was shut out 7–0 by Carolina on November 1, extending its losing streak to nine and dropping its record to 4–8–3. Skinner was pulled for the second straight start; Arniel cited mistakes that exposed the goalies, while Lowry has suggested changes may come, with no moves confirmed. Winnipeg faces Montreal, which previews describe as in strong form; Fowler is on a hot streak, and a projected Scheifele–Vilardi–Connor reunion at practice is not a confirmed lineup.
