Outfield and lineup construction remain unsettled

Seattle must address the possible departures of Randy Arozarena and Taylor Ward while adding an impact bat and improving lineup balance against left-handed pitching. Corner outfield remains the leading need, with third base and shortstop coverage also important. Trent Grisham is only a speculative target, and internal options such as Michael Arroyo and Lazaro Montes are developmental rather than guaranteed solutions.
