Mariners claim Michael Toglia off waivers

Seattle claimed 28-year-old switch-hitter Michael Toglia from Cincinnati, adding an INF/OF depth option to a 39-player roster. His Triple-A power and on-base production are intriguing, but limited MLB results, strikeout concerns and a season-ending right shoulder injury make this a low-risk reclamation move rather than an immediate solution.
