Microdrama distribution expands to connected TV as VeYou prepares to close

VeYou is set to shut down November 6 after roughly six months, with its producer planning to continue making series for PineDrama, YouTube, and other partners. Separately, Korean-focused Genie Shorts launched with 73 titles and is expanding onto connected-TV services, a distribution signal with English-language access still unclear.
