Hurricane Milton Landfall Status and No Current Florida Threat

Milton remains a past storm after making landfall near Siesta Key as a Category 3 hurricane. As of Sept. 9, post-landfall impacts have diminished, no tropical cyclone threatens Florida, and no new evacuation orders, shelter activations, zone changes, or official Milton safety directives were identified.
