Lovullo Return and Coaching Staff Reset

Arizona will retain Torey Lovullo through 2028; Brian Kaplan is departing and Joe Mather returns as hitting coach. The Athletic reports Padres bullpen coach Ben Fritz is Arizona’s next pitching coach, upgrading earlier expectation to a reported hire, though it is not officially confirmed here and final details remain unresolved; Owen Dew and Wellington Cepeda are reportedly staying. Chris Garagiola is confirmed as the TV play-by-play voice starting in 2027.
