Canucks Win Wild Opening-Night Overtime Game

Vancouver defeated Edmonton 6-5 in overtime on September 30 after falling behind 5-2. Cotter scored twice, including the winner, while Rossi, Lekkerimäki, Sasson and Pettersson contributed; the October 1 Rogers Arena rematch is also Vancouver's home opener and will test whether the Canucks can defend Edmonton's pressure and contain Bouchard.
