Frontcourt depth and development

The Blazers signed Jeremy Sochan to a one-year, nonguaranteed deal, but his roster spot is uncertain after the Jackson trade. Donovan Clingan's breakout has been highlighted, making the Yang Hansen gamble look worse. The frontcourt now includes Avdija, Jackson, Clingan, and Sochan, with Hansen as a project. Vit Krejci's partial guarantee kicked in. The team is not pursuing DeMar DeRozan.
