Flock camera debate and new safeguards

KPD's ALPR Transparency Portal and Cobb's Flock program keep surveillance policy in the spotlight. Recent coverage cites 182 leased cameras and 2,218 alerts, while residents seek independent review over privacy, retention, false alerts, hacking, and oversight and officials defend seven-day retention, Evidence Mode, monthly and annual audits, and case-number requirements. Three additional forums, including one in North Cobb, are planned.
