Harry Kane Reportedly Wins the 2026 Ballon d’Or

Reports credit Kane with the 2026 Ballon d’Or after 73 goals across club and country, including 36 in the Bundesliga, and Bayern’s domestic double; the reports have no stated publication date. Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen says the award strengthens Bayern’s pitch to future signings by showing players can win it in Germany, but gives no specific example of a player deterred by award prospects.
