Severe Weather and Prolonged Heat Threat

Recent storms brought tornado, damaging-wind and large-hail threats to Muscatine County and the Quad Cities, including a reported tornado near Morning Sun. A new Sunday-through-Wednesday heat spell could produce heat indexes of 97-103 degrees, requiring precautions for residents, schools, outdoor events and workers.
