King County and Washington Election Day
King County voters head to the polls Nov. 3, with statewide initiatives, Seattle District 5 and King County Council District 2 contests, and a transit-tax measure among the ballot issues to watch. The USPS ballot-envelope rule remains blocked for Tuesday, while King County backs litigation over federal voter-record demands and says it is prepared to respond. Metro rides are free from 4 a.m. Nov. 3 to 3 a.m. Nov. 4; Kent voters also decide a $452 million school levy.
