CMS launches mandatory GLOBE model for Part B drug costs

CMS finalized GLOBE beginning April 2027, testing international-net-price benchmarking for selected Medicare Part B drugs across roughly 25% of Original Medicare beneficiaries. Projected five-year savings are now about $440 million after exemptions and design changes, leaving savings, access, litigation, and implementation uncertain.
