UC Davis athletics combines football, water-polo and volleyball momentum with Title IX case

UC Davis football opened with a 49–17 win over San Diego, while water polo swept three matches, including No. 18 Harvard. Volleyball then swept UNLV in its first Mountain West conference series, with freshman Isabella Umpierre and the Aggies’ blocking standing out. Former equestrian athletes’ Title IX lawsuit adds a significant off-field development, though its timing is unclear.
