Penguins Place Ilya Solovyov on Waivers

Pittsburgh placed defenseman Ilya Solovyov on waivers, apparently making room following Rust’s activation and Kuzmenko’s expected return. Solovyov’s NHL experience and low-cost one-way contract make a claim possible; if unclaimed, he can be assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
