Fatal East Foothills Stabbing

A woman was fatally stabbed in San Jose's East Foothills, becoming the city's 17th homicide of 2026. Another woman was arrested; police have not disclosed the victim's or suspect's identities, motive, or relationship beyond reports that they knew each other.
