Eagles fall 27-24 to JMU and turn quickly to Old Dominion

Georgia Southern lost 27-24 to unbeaten James Madison on October 10, with a missed 52-yard field goal ending the Eagles' late comeback bid. The result ended the Eagles' six-game home winning streak against JMU and dropped them to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in Sun Belt play. Old Dominion is next on Thursday in a short-week road test that carries major conference-stakes pressure.
