NVIDIA's CUDA Rust direction, via alpha-stage cuda-oxide and cutile-rs, brings memory-safe systems tooling to GPU kernel development while CUDA C++ remains the established path. C++26 features including static reflection, contracts, std::simd and std::execution point toward stronger metaprogramming and parallel-performance support, but compiler maturity, portability and production readiness remain open questions.
