Kelsey Plum remains out while Mercury plan offseason around her future

Plum played only five games and 105 minutes after arriving from the Sparks at the trade deadline before her calf injury ended her 2026 season; she will also miss the FIBA World Cup, with no recovery timetable reported. Phoenix reportedly wants to retain the unrestricted free agent, but health, fit, and cost remain unsettled. New speculation says she may command a seven-figure deal and consider Phoenix or other teams, but reports no negotiations or change in status.
