Memphis Signs Richie Saunders, Waives Carson Cooper

On Nov. 7, Memphis signed rookie Richie Saunders to a two-way deal and waived center Carson Cooper after one appearance. Saunders has been cleared for on-court activity and may practice as he recovers from a torn ACL, but game availability, timing, and role remain unknown; the move leaves Memphis with three listed centers amid frontcourt availability questions.
