Bears’ Pass Defense Faces Major Test Against Seattle

Ahead of the November 2 matchup, Chicago’s pass defense is allowing a league-worst 8.7 yards per pass attempt and has given up explosive completions in five of seven games. Preview coverage adds Seattle’s Nick Emmanwori and Quenton Nelson to the matchup concerns and stresses Chicago’s need to generate pressure and limit penalties. Simmons is slated to debut, but his interior pressure alone will not fix coverage or tackling.
