Gainesville Walmart parking-lot shooting kills apparent innocent bystander

Eighty-one-year-old Lula resident James Edward McDaniel died after apparently being shot as an innocent bystander in a Gainesville Walmart parking lot; police say he was at least 130 yards from the shooter. Local, state, and federal resources are involved, but no suspect or arrest has been reported.
