Dedicated Hardware for Personal AI Agents
Ghost has launched Core, a $3,499 local computer built for continuously running personal agents with bundled GPU resources, local memory and processing, configurable autonomy, model updates, and network-request monitoring. Oki Home now signals another reservation-led personal AI computer, but provides too little technical detail to assess its differentiation. The broader launch cycle tests whether privacy, persistence, and reduced cloud dependence can justify dedicated premium hardware over mainstream computers.
