Marchand injured in Panthers' win over Kings

Brad Marchand was helped from the ice with an apparent left-knee or leg injury in Florida's 2-1 win over Los Angeles on Oct. 7. He recently returned from hip and sports-hernia surgery, remains without a prognosis, and his availability for the Minnesota home opener is uncertain pending examination and a possible Thursday update.
