App State stuns unbeaten James Madison 34-31 in overtime

App State beat previously unbeaten JMU 34-31 in overtime on October 22, improving to 5-2 and re-entering the Sun Belt East conversation. James London made four field goals, including the winner; Singleton threw for 271 yards and Hasselbeck scored the go-ahead touchdown. The upset may damage JMU’s CFP hopes and ended Billy Napier’s Sun Belt winning streak, though the playoff implications are still speculative.
