Nick Kurtz Returns to IL with Thumb Injury

Top prospect Nick Kurtz, just returned from IL, is back on IL with the same thumb issue. Kotsay indicated the reaggravation may be more than 10 days, possibly a tear. Also, Jeffrey Springs placed on IL with hip fatigue, likely ending his A's tenure. Max Muncy recalled, Bowden DFA'd, J.T. Ginn reinstated. First base is now a rotation of McNeil, White, Heim, and Muncy.
