Riot Grrrl and Women-Led Alternative Rock Week

The Sept. 9 Liz Phair, Sleater-Kinney, and Soccer Mommy Greek Theatre show marked the peak of a Bay Area run that also included Bikini Kill/Alice Bag, Bratmobile, Team Dresch, and Heavens to Betsy. Bottom of the Hill’s September calendar reinforces Bratmobile and other punk/alternative listings, but the broader story is now winding down.
