Vegas Exposes Kraken's Defensive and Discipline Problems

Seattle fell 6-2 to Vegas on October 6 after opening with consecutive six-goal wins over Calgary. Poor puck management, defensive coverage and penalty-kill execution produced a 5-0 deficit after two periods, 43 penalty minutes, multiple fights and a goaltending change. The loss, alongside the earlier Edmonton defeat, remains the clearest test of whether the Kraken's problems are structural before their road trip.
