Fatal crashes and roadway hazards disrupt Huntsville-area travel

Crashes, construction, utility work, and event closures continue to affect local travel. A pedestrian struck at Governors Drive and Monroe Street was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries; this appears to duplicate a recently shared item. The Memorial Parkway overpass at Mastin Lake Road is open with nearby work-zone hazards, while transportation funding supports I-565-area improvements and projects at Slaughter Road and Resolute Way.
