Maintenance Tarlatamab Plus Durvalumab Reports Survival Gain in Extensive-Stage SCLC

Phase 3 DeLLphi-305, reported with simultaneous NEJM publication, strengthens the earlier report that adding tarlatamab to durvalumab maintenance after chemotherapy improved median OS to 21.1 versus 12.7 months, with a reported 58% lower risk of death and improved PFS. Participants had disease that had not progressed after chemotherapy; safety, longer follow-up, and comparison with other first-line approaches remain important.
