Rare-Disease Treatment Signals: Netherton Syndrome and Hypochondroplasia
Interim QRX003 data in Netherton syndrome found four of six participants met the IGA endpoint, with a single-child case report describing sustained improvement; the small sample and case report cannot establish efficacy. Vosoritide Phase 3 results in children with hypochondroplasia showed growth-velocity and arm-span gains at 52 weeks. Longer follow-up and fuller safety and trial details are needed; QRX003 topline results are expected in Q2 2027.
