Humpback Whale Rio Heads West Toward San Francisco Bay

Rio, a humpback whale that traveled roughly 60 miles inland through the Delta and Sacramento River, reportedly turned west after reaching the Rio Vista area. It is not confirmed that Rio has reached the Bay; people must not chase or crowd it, and boats and kayaks should stay at least 100 feet away.
